geez, liam. i have your blog load up at work, and i just got back after 10 days off with all sorts of stuff happening with me in that little bit of time.
and, you give me this little gem on this overcast, rainy monday morning in nyc.
i'll smile all day with this one. and replay many times.
i gotta get me some of that flounce. it's on my list.
the title of the blog comes from a gordon lightfoot tune. and yeah, i do mean the same guy who wrote Sundown and The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald among others. i think it's about the passing of time and the joy of looking forward to more of it. but truth is, it's an evasive little gem from an underrated songwriter (he also wrote the classic If You Could Read My Mind) that often plays in my head when i least expect it.
